Rainforest Action Network
Works to protect the Earth's rainforests and support the rights of their inhabitants through education, grassroots organizing, and non-violent direct action.

Rainforest Alliance
Dedicated to the conservation of tropical forests through education, research, and the establishment of cooperative partnerships.

Rocky Mountain Institute
Research and educational foundation concerned with fostering the efficient and sustainable use of resources as a path to global security.

Rocky Mountain Nature Association
Assists national and state park and land conservation agencies with educational and research programs.

Save the Redwoods League
Preserves the redwood forests of California by purchasing forest land and placing it in permanent protection, and through public education programs.

Seacology
Comprised of scientists who donate their time to assist indigenous peoples in the conservation of their island ecosystems and island cultures.

Sierra Club
Dedicated to exploring and protecting the earth's wildlands and promoting the responsible use of the earth's resources.

Society of American Foresters
The national scientific and educational organization representing the forestry profession in the US.

Soil and Water Conservation Society
Promotes soil, water, and related natural resource management through scientific and educational programs.

Student Conservation Association
Sponsors programs to promote environmental education, land stewardship, and wildlife conservation in national parks, forests, and wildlife refuges, and other lands.

The Trustees of Reservations
Concerned with preservation, for public use and enjoyment, landscapes of exceptional scenic, historic, and ecological value in Massachusetts. Established in 1891.

Wilderness Society
Concerned with preserving wilderness and wildlife, and protecting America's prime forests, parks, rivers, deserts and shorelands.

World Resources Institute
A center for policy research and technical assistance on global environmental and development issues.
