Welcome to the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Site Travel Planner. Here you'll find everything you need to plan your visit, including directions, park facts, things to do, information on historical resources, educational programs, maps, and more.

A few quick facts: Originally established in 1916 and redesignated as a national historic site in 1959, the 345-acre site in Hodgenville, Kentucky, commemorates the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln, 16th president of the United States. An early 19th century Kentucky cabin, symbolic of the one in which Lincoln was born, is preserved in a memorial building at the site of his birth. I hope you'll enjoy a visit to this historic site in the near future.
